Dermatophytes
R-Biopharm offers advanced diagnostics for rapid, reliable detection of dermatophytes, yeasts and moulds from skin, hair and nail specimens. Powered by multiplex tandem PCR (MT-PCR), these panels deliver accurate results within hours, enabling faster diagnosis and treatment. By distinguishing dermatophyte from non-dermatophyte infections, including co-infections, they enhance clinical clarity. Fully compatible with R-Biopharm platforms, they provide laboratories with efficient, streamlined tools to improve workflows and support better patient outcomes. Liberation of hard‑to‑reach fungal nucleic acids is achieved using the RIDA®Prep Tissue Digestion Kit.

Simultaneous detection of the most common dermatophytes, yeasts and moulds, enabling differential diagnosis of dermatophyte and non-dermatophyte infections, mixed infections and other non-infectious dermatophytosis.

Keratinous tissue samples can make sample purification challenging. RIDA®Prep Tissue Digestion Kit liberates hard-to-reach dermatophytes and other fungi from hair, skin and nail samples to improve the yield
of targets of interest for downstream sample purification.
